{UAH} Of family rights to properties gained from brutal regimes!

Should the nation give currency to such claims of properties attained through the killing of rightful owners, or those gained from looting the State treasury while negligently costing lives due lack of funds? That is the question that all Ugandans and our courts ought to be grappling with, and yes - although we don't want to bring undue burden on the surviving members of such brutal men - but we want to send a a clear message as to "who is to be held culpable?", the nation wants to home in on a fact that their loved ones left a trail of victims who want compensation for their pain and suffering. Our legal system has got to evolve to hold such estates financially and legally accountable in order to reduce the kind of senseless mayhem that has come to define our past and present leaders! To simply let them off the hook, and permit these families to continue to enjoy the proceeds as if nothing happened is not fair to those families who were victimized. If there is no deemed financial and legal liability to future generations of such men - we will continue to wallow in the same problems and pain caused by a conscienceless bunch!
