Rupert Murdoch (right) and Wendi Deng recently ended their 14-year marriage — and an explosive report says former British Prime Minister Tony Blair's relationship with Deng may be one of the reasons why.

Days after Murdoch finalized his divorce from Deng, an explosive report surfaced claiming the 44-year-old stunner is the reason the media titan no longer speaks to Blair, his longtime pal.

Media circles in London had already been whispering about a possible affair beforethe Mail report appeared online Saturday night.

Deng and Blair, 60, are said to have stayed overnight at a Murdoch California spread in October 2012 and April of this year — without his knowledge.

The pair also had "multiple encounters" unbeknownst to Murdoch, including a weekend overnight stay at his Los Angeles home and meetings in London and New York, the paper reported.

But the report included an unusual line stating that "there is no suggestion by this newspaper of any impropriety by Mr. Blair or Ms. Deng."

"Mr. Blair's friends have repeatedly denied he had an affair with Ms. Deng," it continued.

Murdoch, 82, and Deng officially ended their 14-year marriage in a Manhattan courtroom Wednesday.

The Murdoch and Blair camps reportedly exchanged angry barbs Friday night.

"Rupert Murdoch is putting out ridiculous stories about Wendi and Tony which are not true," a close friend of Blair's told the Mail on Sunday.

"It is the ravings of a sad old man."

A friend of Murdoch's, the Australian-born owner of News Corp., insisted the friendship between the close pals has been irrevocably derailed.

"Rupert Murdoch will have nothing more to do with Tony Blair. Not ever," the friend said.

A source close to Murdoch hinted that something serious had prompted the media mogul to break off his marriage to Deng and friendship with Blair.

Blair is the godfather of Grace, 12, the oldest of Deng and Murdoch's two daughters.

"Rupert has been thorough, careful and has not acted lightly," the source said.

"If you think that Rupert made a decision to end his marriage and a long-term friendship without just cause, you are sorely mistaken," the source added.

Another Murdoch pal said, "Rupert and Wendi's marriage was already in a bad way."

"But the connection with Blair did not help," the friend added.
