{UAH} WHAT HAPPENS AT ZIMBABWE CEMETERIES

I was told this recently by a Zimba buddy. That while in Zimbabwe one should resist the temptations to buy cheap flowers from roadside and street vendors.

REASON: Reason was fallout from the economic disaster and HIV. The story is that nearly all nicely arranged and packaged BUT cheap flower bouquets sold in these places come from cemeteries. The response by victims has been that at funerals or cemetery visits flowers also seem to only pay visits like the bearers bcos at the end of a burial or visit the bearer informed wise takes them back home in order to avoid them being stolen by thieves. He said it is no wonder that around cemeteries in Zimbabwe one may see people walking aimlessly of pretending to pay respect at a grave and yet are in fact keeping an eye or both on a proceeding funeral or watching a person leaving flowers at a grave. Once gone, the thieves quickly make off with the flowers to recycle them for sale on the streets and shanty-town flower shops.  

So in case you one why there is not a single flower at a Zimba cemetery, just know they were taken back home for safe keeping from grave thieves.
