Whereas Tanzania has valid reasons and fears of not wanting to be rushed into the East African monetary and federal union, I want to use this opportunity to remind Tanzania that they should be prepared to reap what they sowed.

When Tanzania, through their beloved Nyerere, relentlessly supported Milton Obote to over-ride the agreement (constitution) which used to guarantee Buganda's semi- autonomous status over certain issues, Tanzania did not know that at certain point in time it might have similar concerns in EAC as those of Buganda in Uganda.

Now that Tanzania is faced with the bitter truth of being coerced into sensitive areas, time has come for it to apologize to the people of Buganda for the support they gave Obote to suppress Buganda's interests.
