{UAH} Where are Villa's ex star players
PAUL HASULE: SC Villa signed him from Mbale Heroes (Gangama)in 1981 and he initially played on the right before he moved to centre back. He was the club skipper from 1986 to 1993 when he quit. He also coached the club between 1998 to November 2001. He passed away on April 26, 2004.
RONALD VVUBYA: Joined SC Villa from Mukono based Lufula FC in 1983. He used to play as an attacking midfielder and right winger. He left SC Villa in 1991 and currently resides in England.
SUNDAY MOKIRI: Joined SC Villa in 1983 from Jinja based Tobacco FC. He was a left winger. He fell out with his bosses and left SC Villa in 1990. He joined Villa's technical bench in 2002 but died in 2006.
GODFREY KISITU: He joined SC Villa in 1981 straight after his release from Luzira. He was imprisoned for being a former Simba FC player. He was a striker but later turned to midfield and defence. He left SC Villa in 1986 and crossed to Coffee. He died in 1990.
GEOFREY HIGENYI: Joined SC Villa from Jinja based Nytil in 1983 and featured as a left-sided defender. He left SC Villa in 1994 and is currently one of SC Villa assistant coaches.
YUSUF SONKO: Joined SC Villa from KCC FC in 1984. He was a right fullback. He left SC Villa in 1988 and joined Express. He moved to England in 1989.
TWAHA KIVUMBI: Joined SC Villa from Mulago based Pepsi Cola. He was a defensive midfielder. He left SC Villa in 1992 and currently lives in Canada.
SAM MUBIRU: Joined SC Villa from Maroons FC in 1981. He was a defensive midfielder. He was released from SC Villa in 1988 and went to United Kingdom.
ROGERS NSUBUGA: Joined SC Villa from Lubaga Boys in the late 1970s. He was a striker. He left Villa in 1989 and also lives in the United Kingdom.
SHABAN MWINDA: Joined SC Villa from NIC in 1977. He played as a striker and also on the right wing. He was gunned down in October 1985.
ANECITUS SERWANGA: Joined SC Villa in 1981 from Mbarara FC. He was a goalkeeper. He left SC Villa in 1988 and later became a businessman.
