3 Injured As U.S Military Chopper Is Hit In S.Sudan
Our sources have confirmed that one of the six U.S military osprey choppers that landed at Entebbe airport this afternoon has been hit in Juba.
According to sources, the chopper, an osprey military type, was hit as it tried to finalise today's evacuation mission.
"It was shot at in Bor, the capital of the state of Jonglei state. Three U.S. service members were injured and the plane was seen heading back to Uganda," a source said.
Chimpreports has just contacted its sources at Entebbe airport and these too confirmed that a plane flew in with wounded personnel, all of them in a critical condition.
"The wounded have been rushed to Kenya for treatment but their colleagues haven't told us exactly what happened," a source narrated.
Meanwhile, as UPDF denies involvement in Bor bombardings, the Kenyan president had sent Kenya Defence Forces to intervene in Juba conflict.
