Marvin Ngobi Kyomya, a son to Busoga Diocese Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Michael Aaron Sosan Kyomya last Wednesday found himself committing a crime his Farther keeps warning the congregation against when; he was nabbed in a terrible drink driving state.
According to a cop privy with the matter at Jinja Central Police Station (CPS), Marvin was arrested from the Police Roundabout, cruising in a zigzagging Nadia registration number UAP 660N.
"We arrested Marvin who is said to be one of Bishop Kyomya's children, driving under the influence of alcohol whose content totalled to an abnormal 176 far above the mandatory 0.35m. He attracted our attention after we saw him driving in a zigzag form," said the cop.
EVIDENCE: Ngobi's BMW in which he committed the offence the first time
Sources say this is Marvin's second time to be arrested under drink-driving felony. "He was first arrested on 29th November at Amber Coat after knocking a pavement in a BMW registration number UAT 953U. He was cautioned, charged and fined Shs200,000 which he paid in the bank," lamented the source
However, before the dust could settle, he again went on a drinking spree, landing into the Cops trap again. We are ably informed that Rev. Kivunike, one of Bishop Kyomya's most trusted aides reportedly handled the issue with police. "Marvin spends most of his time in Kenya and whenever he is arrested; he flashes his Kenyan driving," said the Cop
His case of driving under the influence of alcohol is registered as SD 08/11/12/13 at Jinja Central Police Station. Efforts to contact Marvin were futile as a one Dan, who claimed to be a brother kept on dilly-dallying on his known phone.
