{UAH} IMF focus on Uganda economic growth unhelpful
Economic growth in Uganda is necessary but not sufficient to reduce poverty through job creation, improving nutrition, quality education and healthcare, providing housing, protect the environment and respect human rights. There is a paradigm shift from economic growth and trickle down to integration of economic growth, social inclusion, environmental protection and observance of human rights. IMF should adopt this approach as well.
