Three Suspected Armed City Killers Arrested

Police in Kampala are holding three suspected deadly killers who have been terrorizing people with illegal guns in the metropolitan region.
The arrested were identified as Kenneth Opio, Ismail Ojok , and Pius Obong who were handpicked by highly placed police detectives in the areas of Kinawataka, and Mutungo where they had been hiding.
 It has been established that the trio have been involved in massive theft and killings around the city and in it’s sub urban areas.
 OCIID of Jinja road police Ronald Bogere further revealed that the three have been involved in  armed robberies operations which targeted Joy supermarket in  Bugolobi,Mutungo, Pk supermarket found in  Kiwatule, Kitintale, Kinawataka and Kireka.
’’We are happy that our operations were successful and that we managed to arrest these thugs however the search for their other colleagues is still going on ’’ said the chest thumping officer.
He intimidated that during the search police managed to recover a rifle, hammers and screws which they had been using earlier on to rob and at times kill people who they suspected could have reported them to police after being identified while on foiled missions.
Bogore stressed that the trios are suspected to be former security operatives as is exhibited in their high skill on military and gun use which involved the murder of a police man who was on duty at Wampewo Avenue last September.
Police have opened files Ref SD 49/13/09/2013 and CRB 1309/2013 as the hunt for their leader one Garde Okello continues who is suspected to be hiding more deadly arsenal. The trio will be arraigned in the courts of law as soon as the investigations into the case are complete
