{UAH} Ugandans be bold and call a spade a spade
Let me remind fellow Ugandans that you can't solve a problem without identifying the root cause first. Many Ugandans know what has caused our suffering and vulnerability to internal and external shocks but won't point a finger at it. They talk and write in roundabout ways and even blame the wrong people. Let us be bold in 2014 and call a spade a spade or stop complaining about hard conditions in Uganda.
The outside world is beginning to understand thanks to an intensive diplomatic networking UDU has conducted since July 2011. The Hague meeting of November 2013 that brought Ugandans at home and in the diaspora together should build on this foundation, not reinvent the wheel that would be counterproductive. The next meeting of Ugandans that attended The Hague meeting with support of resource persons in their areas of expertise that were identified at the meeting should solidify the achievements and draw up a road map on the way forward.
