National Resistance Movement (NRM) Vice Chairman for Kampala Central, Salim Uhuru wants Kampala Minister Frank Tumwebaze sacked for failing to perform his duties.

This follows Lukwago's impeachment after the release of the tribunal report which cleared the process for his removal from office on grounds of abuse of office, incompetence, misconduct and misbehavior.

Salim Uhuru who also doubles as Councilor for Kisenyi, said President Museveni should also impeach Tumwebaze because he has disorganized Kampala despite the fact that, he comes from Kibaale and doesn't have any clue on how the city is supposed to be operated.

Uhuru adds that Tumwebaze should have respected the verdict from court to halt the process of impeaching the Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago.

"NRM accepted that we should go Multi Party system, since the power is in the hands of the people, Lukwago was elected and won. Since we lost the Mayoral elections to Lukwago they should let him be" he said.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that  we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic  and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
