{UAH} UNAA San Diego Registrations Break Records

UNAA San Diego Registrations up

In perhaps the clearest vote of approval, the Kwesiga administration beat all projections to register very strong results at the close of the Early Bird registrations for UNAA San Diego 2014.

As at the November 30th deadline, registrants for the next convention stood at an impressive 163, a 29% increase over the last UNAA Dallas convention. This is also in sharp contrast to previous conventions which had not recorded any registrants by the same date in past years. UNAA is clearly improving.

These amazing details are included in UNAA's first ever Quarterly Financial Report released by the UNAA Treasurer, Mr. Jude Ssempungu on Friday December 6th 2013 as promised and on schedule. And the winning continues. The number of rooms booked at the convention hotel Hyatt La Jolla now stands at 23% of the reserved room block and expectations are that this hotel is on track to fill up around April 2014. The hotel for the last convention, UNAA Dallas 2013, filled up in May 2013, 4 months before that convention started.

This strong showing is part of a record breaking streak and a well deserved reward for the superior strategic planning, strong mobilization skills, cohesive team work and transparent accountability ushered in by President Brian Kwesiga and his Executive team. A Senior Publicist who now closely follows UNAALIST commented , "This is a sharply focused, modern and highly engaged administration which remains in touch with UNAA's grassroots and has mastered the ability to craft and communicate a constituent-focused message and product".

For their part, Executive Secretary Aisha Musoke Ogwang who is leading the convention organizing effort, expressed appreciation to all those who took advantage of the deep early bird discount. She encourages all those who have not yet registered to take advantage of the next level of discounts (30%) which expire on January 31st 2014.

In another development, as part of a new community out reach initiative, President Kwesiga, Vice President Monday Atigo and Executive Secretary Aisha Musoke Ogwang will tour San Diego and Los Angeles from Friday December 13th to Sunday December 15th 2013. They will meet with the members of the San Diego and LA communities and their respective leadership teams to discuss a detailed road map towards a successful UNAA San Diego Convention.
