This magistrate in Makindye who was definately under pressure from the regime, decded to make a very ridicilous conclusion in her convinction of Adam Kalungi.First she acquited him of possession of drugs, then went on to convict him for manslaughter, mbu because she delayed to take Nebanda to hospital in time.Let us assume that Nebanda took the drugs, and indeed Kalungi never gave her the drugs, and secondly Kalungi was not Nebanda's personal doctor, and not even a trained meical person who neglected to do the right procedures, further Nebanda was not a minor and not a legal partner of Kalungi. WITH ALL THIS IN PLAY, ONLY IN UGANDA, CAN A CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER BE SUSTAINED AGAINST SUCH A PERSON.
