{UAH} Love, sex and young people: how to be a youth-centred organization

The A+ programme was implemented by IPPF’s Member Associations in 16 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and Central America.

The goal was to increase access to sexual and reproductive health services and comprehensive sexuality education for young people, and to promote their sexual and reproductive health and rights.

This report, guided by the unique insights of young people themselves, will contribute to shared learning on how best to implement a youth-centred approach across IPPF and beyond.

Integral to the programme ethos were cross-cutting issues of youth participation, gender equity and partnerships, with a focus on reaching the most marginalised young people.

In many Member Associations young people were provided with the opportunity to be involved with project design and monitoring, and were given responsibilities to implement the project, such  as running peer groups and youth groups, and outreach activities.
