President Yoweri Museveni today officially opened the ruling party's 10-day retreat at National Leadership Institute (NALI), Kyankwanzi where among other things, government officials and MPs are tasked to find a solution to the ever-rising bank interest rates, corruption as well as a general assessment on delivery of the 2011-16 party manifesto.

The party will also discuss the recently passed Anti-Homosexuality bill that Museveni has so far refused to assent to awaiting for presentations of findings of tasked scientists on whether gays are born or made.
