{UAH} NRM's middle Class Stealing Electricity and Water- A Nation of Thieves
NRM’s middle Class Stealing Electricity and Water
If one had an electricity cooker, fan, plus fridge, deep freezer, night lights etc., as it is in Europe or North America what will be the average monthly consumption of electricity and water?
30 unit - NO! and the Bill?
The figure might remain as is for a period of time. A friend working with these entities has intimated that most Uganda (middle class) steal electricity! So the number can’t go up.
This might be true for research among electrical appliances resellers indicate that Ugandans are gradually increasing consumption of fridges, electrical cookers, micro waves, deep freezes, music sets, fans and televisions.
Then how come consumers over the years are still very low?
To make sure that this information is right one can also look at the growth in private housing estates. Can we then reason that estate growth is less than a significant change in electricity consumption?
The same goes for water – though this problem of stealing water appears to be a little bit controlled.
Uganda and the future generation and leaders have a real problem dealing with a nation of thieves!
I can’t understand why this country has not invested in proper housing sector to prop up social transformation. In Acoli and Teso region people were in camps but no efforts were made to set up organized human settlements. There is very low permanent houses in westnile - yet the National Housing CC is in Kampala instead of going north.
This would have gone so far in bringing about the necessary social and economic changes.
