{UAH} Support Ugandan Entrepreneur so she can win $25,000 award from Google for her organization

 

 

hi guys,

I just learned that Google is supporting a competition in Sub-Saharan Africa to support entrepreneurs who are using the internet to do good work.

There are 10 finalists for the $25,000 award - including (of course) 3 Nigerians, 2 Kenyans, and others.  I would love to see this Ugandan woman win (she is the only one from Uganda). Her organization tries to provide rural people access to healthcare via connecting them to doctors and I think also providing an ambulance as needed.  More details on her story here.

Is there any way we can help mobilize Ugandans here to vote for her?  Anyone with any Google account can cast a vote.  Perhaps we can forward to the Ugandan community here...but also to UNAA nationally and any other groups so that we all can vote for her and she wins?
