{UAH} WAMALA, ASISI and OTUNNU!
Forum;
The Arab Spring has already crossed to Eastern Europe (Ukraine) and on to Venezuela, with devastating effect. The one thing the Arab wind was able to do as it circles over a country, was to pacify the army to obliviousness. I was just wondering should this wind cross over to Uganda, will Wamala the army chief, have the balls, mantra, and tangauzi to stand with the people, or would he order his army to shoot to kill; where will his loyalty lie?
This is an area that the opposition politicians of Uganda should be exploring. The Egyptian army chief, Asisi is reaping the reward of his steady fast decision to remain neutral. Does Wamala discern that he could go down in history as the real general who saved Uganda from decay by standing with the people? My hunch tells me no; he hasn't got what it takes because he is a poster boy. But his record in the historical list is obfuscated and whether he was part of Fedemu or layby who joined the NRA en route, is yet to be established. His silence however, speaks volume, albeit inaudible.
The UPC chief, Dr Olara who has all along called for social movement should reach out to Wamala and establish these facts. The question still remains, does DR Olara himself have the balls to do that? I reckon the answer is within Uganda House.
