The latest from the kleptocrats is the purchasing of 'suggestion boxes' at USD 760 a piece…This is the Ministry of Local Government, in the 'market expansion system'. And this seems to have raised no dust, coming close on the heels of the bicycle theft. What makes Ugandans riot because Besigye  and Lukwago have been blocked from accessing the city, yet they look on indifferently when a PS only apologises after  squandering billions? The all the prisoners should be released, since all express remorse at their respective crimes.  It is because this is not our money after all?

The solution to all this is simple: the 'donors' should stop all their 'aid' to Uganda. Moreover, we still die in hundred per day from malaria, maternal mortality, cancer, Aids, dysentery, malnutrition, et al, despite the billions. The OPM scam, only enriched the already rich. But even if it had been put to proper use, WHAT DIFFERENCE WOULD A WORKSHOP MAKE IN THE LIFE OF A UGANDAN RETRUNING FROM AN IDP CAMP AFTER 20 YEARS?  90% of these funds is normally earmarked for 'sensitisation, mobilisation, capacity building', and related clichés.

As Bob Geldorf  once argued, let the African starve, …don't feed him,…only then will he save himself from hunger and famine.
