Why not subject those terms tied on points but separated by goal differences on a

decider match in neutral venues?

The reason being,some of the goals teams scored are usually referee instigated and

thus adversely affecting the outcomes of given matches.The other suggestion is that 

may be they should revert to the old 2 point system for a win,1 for a draw and zero for a

loss.That way the wide differences in points we see these days will even out.
