{UAH} African Business Conference at Harvard Business School

 
 
 

Folks:

 The African-Harvard business conference wrapped up this weekend at HBS, but there were not many Ugandans from home or even the diaspora. There were lots of people from West Africa, Kenya and South Africa but not Uganda. It is a great conference of essentially who is who in African business including MNCs operating in Africa.  This was the sixth time the conference took place at HBS.

And will be next year around the same time.  I do not want to get involved in the stupid UNAA nonsense, but this is the type of conference that should have been on UNAA's radar. Simply put there is no better conference on African business than the HBS annual conference. It is a great place to network and for those seeking jobs in Africa to meet employers. There is always a career fair.

Now, I need to get in touch with the folks who run UWEZO or some fund dedicated towards poor but bright girls. Ms Ogwapit  or Ms. Rehema can you please help. I need the real caring folks not the maziwa lala type who are selfish.  There is a program helping poor but bright students (especially girls) but that too is dominated by West Africans and Kenyans, yet it is for student from Africa.   I need the names and emails contacts if you can help.  

You can also help me with the contacts of the following women MPs, Hon Aidah Nantaba, Hon Brenda Nabukenya, and the women MP for Tororo, I forget her name, but the one who told off those urging her to marry. May be they know of needy girls in their areas who could benefit. Unfortunately, the deadline for 2104 is passed but it is better to be ready for 2015.
