{UAH} Lupita's dad wants "Song of Lawino" turned into a movie

Folks;

 

Veterans of this forum may remember my passionate posting here 3 years ago about the need to turn a few classic African novels into movies.

 

I particularly praised the storyline of Mongo Beti's Mission to Kala. Here, Prof. Anyang Nyong'o adds here Achebe's Things Fall Apart and Ngugi wa' Thiongo's Weep Not Child. This call deserves further discussions.
