{UAH} NICK MUGIRA DENIES BEING CLOSE TO THE FIRST FAMILY
Ugandans at heart,
Hope you are all OK, in high UAH spirits and bouncing very well. I would like to draw your attention to a post on UAH on Wednesday, 26 December 2012: ‘’who is this Nick Mugira in the Uganda Investment Authority that is doing deals for the 1st family?’’
I have been contacted by Mr.Nick Mugira himself and he said:’’ I have never worked for the Uganda Investment Authority or even ever done any deals for the first family; I don't even know any member of the first family. I am an ordinary Uganda hustling like the rest.’’
‘’Well, it’s not a bad story as such because it gets people to think that am that connected, but it’s not true. It’s a misrepresentation and I don't stand for that. Thanks for the good work you continue to do,’’ he continued.
However, the Uganda Observer on October 26, 2006, listed Nick Mugira as one of the ‘Members who can contribute Shs 50m’ to NRM.
