3.Eseza Mulira-Makumbi. 1926-1936-Lupita Nyong'o won the Oscar for best supporting actress! It might be a bit of a stretch, but Eseza Mukambi Mulira, the first Ugandan who acted in a British movie in 1946, may have paved some of the way for her. The movie Eseza acted in was called Men of Two Worlds. It 'was a highly recognised story of an African dilemma directed by Thorold Dickinson.' (Quote: Patience Atuhaire for Daily Monitor, 2007)
