Freedom and Unity Front (FUF) that was formed three months ago is a non-starter.
FUF has no clear political philosophy. It is focusing on mobilizing Christians as it clearly states that it is an ecumenical organization. It has not indicated what it intends to do once it has mobilized Christians. It has leadership that has no political experience and is unable to address the public directly. It is now being strangled by its financial linkage to Museveni and NRM. It has been unable to explain how, with limited capacity the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) could have sustained the war for over twenty years and inflicted so much damage, particularly to the people of Acholi.
