In "Challenges affecting women's advancement in global development," I discussed how lengthy travel and overseas field work requirements contribute to a gender gap in international development institutions, particularly at the leadership level.

How to transition to development consulting

Stories abound about corporate professionals transitioning to global development work. A key to their success: transferable skills.
So, how do you highlight your transferable skills well and make that transition?
