George (W.) Bush Sent A Badly-Handwritten Letter To That Alabama Kicker To Cheer Him Up

George Bush

Former president George W. Bush apparently doesn’t read SportsGrid, because he seems to think Alabama Crimson Tide kicker Cade Foster, the dude who missed three field goals in their Iron Bowl loss to Auburn (but NOT the one to end the game), needs cheering up. As you all know, he doesn’t need cheering up, because this is his girlfriend.

So, yeah, Bush sent him a handwritten letter (insert illiterate joke here):

Great handwriting!

Google Translate tells me that it says:

“Dear Cade (#43), Life has its setbacks. I know! However you will be a stronger human with time. I wish you all the best. Sincerely — another 43 George Bush”

Very nice. And if criticism really does make you stronger, George Bush needs to take up senior-division powerlifting. (Pause to picture jacked-up Bush benching hundreds of pounds.)
