{UAH} KOFFI OLOMIDE IN KAMPALA

The rumba maestro will have a concert at cricket oval in Kampala on
April 25, 2014. Proceeds will go to putting up a blood bank, a project
Mengo is involved with. This is guy is one of the most known veterans
of Congolese music.

He was last in Uganda in 1995. I met him in the corridors of the
Sheraton hotel with my dad. After, his equipment was stolen during one
of the shows.

Koffi is known for a noticeable voice and dance formations with some
of the most luscious queen dancers once could ever come across. He has
mentored such stars as Fally Ipupa, Suzuki Luzubu and is very rich,
and very connected. These guys nurtured Uganda's music acumen when it
was still raw and limping.
