1.From left Sam Nujoma (President of Namibia 1990-2005), Kenneth Kaunda of Zambia ( 1964-1991), Samora Machel ( President of Mozambique (1975-1986), Julius Nyerere ( President of Tanzania 1961-1985), Robert Mugabe ( President of Zimbabwe ( 1980 - present).President Samora of Mozambique's wife Graca was Nelson Mandela's wife too.. She has been the FIRST LADY of two countries, the only one in the world.Kaunda suit was an ideal wear for warm countries. Many well to do Asians used to wear Kaunda Suits in East Africa. It kinda became a status symbol.

This life-time historic picture shows a newly wed elderly couple, namely Mr. Yolamu Mpapula and his bride Mrs Eseri Mpapula after their church matrimonial oaths at Buwaaya Church of Uganda. The two have happily stayed together in traditional marriage since 1938. The couple are the parents of Mr Stephen Mulumba, a well known photographer based in Kampala.'
