{UAH} Mr.Twimujuke:Kirumira Mohammed; Kayihura and community policing!

Why was Kirumira arrested? If he was framed, he has a good chance of beating the charges against him?

Someone mentioned "community policing" , and I think that's the key and future to policing in Uganda. My worry is that the pioneer of community policing, Gen. Kayihura, is now involved in what has come to be known as the " Kale-leaks" -that are overshadowing everything the police is supposed to do. The leaks or tapes have taken away the trust people had developed with the police, yet "trust" is on top of pile as far as community policing is concerned.

The police leadership need to sit down ASAP and find a way of not letting this situation shit on everything they have achieved.

I like Kayihura, for some reason, but I'm afraid the best decision he could make right now is to retire immediately from the police and then form a transition team to move the police to the next level.

Kayihura's enemies are in high gear , and they aren't putting their feet off the gears any time soon. For instance, I've just seen a message on Tom Okwalinga's wall where he promises to release all the remaining 80 tapes allegedly stolen from the police. You don't need that if you are an IGP, and I think the tapes would carry more weight the more Kayihura remains in that position.

Yes, Kayihura has achieved something as IGP but even good things, unfortunately, sometimes end up with a bad ending. That's life!

I  must also say that i have never  met , or talked to Kirumira personally  but i must admit that i have always liked his charisma and will to fight Armed thieves that are allegedly  connected to to big men. 

My prayer and Hope is that  people  who are objective like Afande Kayihura, ( also Copied in this Mail,) Afande Adrew Felix Kawesi should intervene and save AIP Kirumira who seemingly stepped on peoples toes ( connected thieves) and because they have a big network, they have framed him and has been arrested. 

As  i write this , according to press reports , last night , the thieves celebrated by launching a massive robbery attacks on residents of Nansana  and that this time around they are tougher than ever , to which the residents have also reacted by lynching one of them to death. 

Afande Kayihura,please, please help us and reinstate AIP Kirumira and others like him in those strong holds for  armed thugs,.
