A four hundred year old tree, near the Kampala-Fort Portal road, is thought to contain the spirit of Ndahura, a medieval Bachwezi king.The Munsa Earthworks, the remains of an elaborate fortification and Ntusi, a large settlement from the 15th century are other Bachwezi sites deeper in the interior.
