{UAH} President fulfils pledges of vehicle donations. H.E always does
President Yoweri Museveni has handed over a donation of six vehicles
to personalities and organizations.
The ceremony took place on Monday (March 31, 2014) at State House,
Nakasero and was witnessed, among others, by State House Comptroller,
Ms. Lucy Nakyobe Mbonye. The donations handover was in fulfillment of
the President's pledges to the beneficiaries.
The President handed over a Mitsubishi Pajero car each to the newly
installed Bishop of the Church of Uganda's Kigezi Diocese, Rt. Rev.
George Bagamuhunda; the leader of the Faith of Unity, Ow'obusobozi
Desteo Bisaka whose organization is based in Kagadi, Kibale district
while Church of Uganda's Bunyoro - Kitara Diocese got a donation of 3
Mitsubishi pick-ups that were received by the diocesan Prelate, Rt.
Rev. Nathan Kyamanywa Ateenyi.
President Museveni also made a donation of one Mitsubishi Double cabin
pick - up to benefit a television project based in Gulu district in
Northern Uganda. The vehicle was received by Rev. Sister Joe Martin
Nalubega of the Congregation of the Little Sisters of Mary Immaculate
which is based in Gulu district.
All the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to President Museveni
for fulfilling his pledges.
