{UAH} 70 per cent fail Makerere law pre-entry exam

Only 561, 30% of  the 1,818 candidates who took the exam managed to get over the 50% pass mark.
 
 
Remember that many of the students who took the exam boasted As in the UNEB exams.  Now their dreams of joining Makerere  law School are dead as dodo. Their only saving grace and for their parents who took them to mercenary schools where exams are routinely leaked and in some cases actually done for students, is that they an go to UCU and  other Universities to study law. 
 
That is what happens when you compromise the integrity of national exams. I am told that very soon, a similar exam will be administered for entry into medical school .
 
 
So how can a majority of students who got As fail to get 50% on an entrance exam?
 
I understand the rich parents are so pissed with Makerere that they have  BEGGED NRM to stop it but Makerere said NO.  No pre-entry exam, no consideration for LLB period.
