Dear Community Members,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing away of a fellow Ugandan, Ms. Rose Okello in San Francisco, CA.

 

The information we have been able to gather thus far is that the deceased was a qualified professor in her late 50s who taught for some time in California before starting her own business called Nile Trading Company with an art gallery. Rose had started working from her home by the time she had died.

Rose's body is in a mortuary at Brendan Police station in San Francisco, CA.

I am kindly requesting your help to see if we can locate any of her relatives and be able to claim the body from the morgue.

Ms. Mbunda from Tanzania, a friend to the deceased is willing to help any member of the Ugandan community in San Francisco, CA and beyond in searching for the deceased's relatives and any other necessary actions in handling this situation. She can be reached on 415-292-8020.
