{UAH} DP's Brenda Nnabukenya has got to win!

Whether someone or anyone else likes it or not today's by-election

winner in Luweero will have to be DP's formidable Brenda Nnabukenya!

Riiging, using rthe security forces, bribing and intimidating voters won't

avail anything to the already defeated NRM which will have to stand humiliation

in Luweero ! They have fooled the people for generations and now it's time to pay

the price! 

News from there only confirm what has been discussed on this forum! NRM is a gone case

in Luweero! Let them forget all about it and go to sleep! Young Brenda has succeeded to overwhelm

the so called mighty party and its top hierarchy including the big man himself. Her rallies might have

gathered nearly half the total population of the area!! While the other chaps were even struggling to get

a paltry 3000 people at each very big rally on average! Their money hasn't worked! And you remember to give

them money now because of an election? What were they doing before when the region getting out of a war

really wanted development and full total rehabilitation? No wonder the masses over there, and soon elsewhere in the country, decide to shof allegiance! The historical men have miserably failed to come anywhere close to a tenth of Brenda's massive enthusiasm and the young woman was moving in her stronghold as a real head of state! 

Now, will any NRM plans to rig the poll work? Given the outpour of enthusiasm the opposition has caused and the

people's determination to take back to Parliament their beloved " liberator " as they call her, any such very dirty silly 

manoeuvres which expose stupidity at its highest degree won't work! And as NRM support is widely ebbing away

in the region any cheapness of the kind will rightly oblige the masses to fly into a fury and NRM will have to be ready to

take the consequences! Time to pocket intimidation has evolved to give breath to heroism and fearlessness! NRM will

save its skin when it accepts defeat today evening! This by-election should have been avoided in a way to save NRM!

But now there is nothing NRM for salvage! They have fallen into a snare and they are fully trapped by the philosophy of a 

very brilliant opposition which has been carefully and tactfully studying their numerous weaknesses! One of them is their

arrogance which leads them to assume that even in politics anyone must be there for them! This is what Luweero has now shown them! Whether they rig all the total Brenda votes and the girl is declared a loser, she will still be the glorious hero and winner of the poll judging by the overwhelming support she has garnered throughout the entire region and the support she has lumped from all opposition parties, in addition to what she has enjoyed from disgruntled NRMs who include a full former V-P, Hon Mr Gilbert Bukenyua, whose presence in Luweero on Brenda's side has shown to Ugandans how NRM can stand impotent and powerless before a resolute member who appears resolute for what the adverse camp preaches! An invitation to NRM to start change within its bosom if the party is to continue existing in the next decade! With the opposition creating new Brendas every other season NRM's full days must appear numbered in a place where the Luweero campaigns have shown an outburst of enthusiasm for programmes and not for baskets of money, etc..! And it's this civilized warmth that will marshal young Brenda to Parliament today!
