{UAH} Electricity in Lango!

Guys,

This is some good news. The rural electricity program for many of the towns and trading centres in Lnago have finally been switched on! Driving through the small towns of Kamdini, Atapara, Amwa, Loro, Adyeda, Aguluride, Corner Aboke etc this last weekend made me appreciate the importance of electricity, even to 'village communities.  Since the power was switched on days ago, there seems to be added activity, and of course more merry-making in some of these places which sued to be rather sleepy.

Unfortunately and I hope it was only limited to the weekend days, there was also a lot of drunkenness in these places associated with what one of the locals told me they now call 'Mac a Yuweri' (Yoweri's electricity).

I still do not know whether these 'rural' beneficiaries of the program pay the same rate for electricity as their town counter-parts.
