If the IGP had cited security as the reason for banning political rallies indefinitely, how nice of him to update us, just hours later, that he has now resolved the security concern in time to allow the same rallies to go on!

Methinks, Daudi Kimaiyo, the IGP, has been forced to recant his own directive due to unrelenting pressure from CORD and other sources. Which goes to confirm that he had suspended political rallies for political, not security, reasons.
