Ethiobia:Alshabab cross border attack on somali ethio region

Mareeg.com-Heavy fighting erupted at the border between Bakool Region and Ethiopian border between alshabaab and liyu police of Ethiopian Zone5. The fighting took place at the early hours of this morning. They have clash with the territorial police in the region.

Witnesses say the Alshabaab fighters carried out a cross-border attack on Aato area in Zone 5 of Ethiopia. They waged war on the Liyuu Police. The number of casualties in that attack is not known but thought to be high. However, the latest reports from there say Alshabaab have then retreated to their bases in Bakool Region of Somalia.
