SV: {UAH} Attn: Akim/ SOME ONE IS ADVISING PRESIDENT MUSEVENI WRONGLY ON CULTURE AND FOOTBALL!!!
Jal,
Först av all, ibalo lok ni they are sport-tourist in Brazil and the benefit is to Brazil.
That is already a wrong proceeding view point. Perhaps Brazil gains most economically. But, these supporters are, like I said, satisfying their lust(leisure). In other words, they are gaining big time. Free like birds and having good times with other cultures.
Some of them are mixing business with / and pleasure ( connecting deals).
Most African countries can not even fill a stadium two days in a row. See, not even the REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA could.
But several African countries could join hands and apply to host it jointly.

I am not one of those who believe, muzungu do no wrong!Nokrach, how many times has African hosted the world cup? How many African team are allowed to take part in the cup vis the European team? Work that out, then come back to me.I did ask how much those African fans, traveling with their national team had to pay to go to Brazil and how much they are spending on accommodation etc?. They are sports tourist and so the benefit is for Brazil.Nokrach Gaumoy;I am one who supports most sports. But all i am saying is that in the world cup, African teams are unfairly punished, the reason being, they are commercially worthless to the west. This means that they should be eliminated at the earliest opportune.

--Last week President Museveni made some stupendous remark / adviceon football (WORLD CUP FOOTBALL) and what the Ugandan youths shouldpreoccupy themselves with INSTEAD (!!!).COULD SOMEONE REPOST THAT?!I find that troublesome and misleading (the same way I find Akim & cos remark on the current WORLD CUP CHAMPIONSHIP).Akim, you stop your bullcrap!! FOOTBALL IS CULTURE AND CULTURE IS VERY VERY VERY ESSENTIAL...,YES, BENEFICIAL IN HUMAN EVOLUTION.Now allow me take it back to basic and break it for you there:FOOD, SHELTER, CLOTHING AND LEISURE. Very important!!Lets get it down to satisfaction of human wants (as in basic commerce & economics). That is the part EVEN THOSE PRESIDENTIAL ADVISERS MISS and make President Museveni make funny pronouncements on Ugandan youths who are satisfying their leisure desire.See, those Nigerian, Ghanian and Ivorian supporters now in BRAZIL are enjoying are enjoying at a very high level and are satisfying their their lust for culture (they are travelling, meeting people from other cultures, mingling.., they are evolving!!!!).Their kids who are talent shall also have a dream etc.At the same time many Ugandan can not even have enough to buy tickets to matches in Nakivubu, Pece, Lira Stadium, Mbale stadium etc.THE BIGGEST QUESTION IS HOW TO MAKE MANY UGANDA AFFORD ACCESS TO THE CULTURE!!!!That is what you and even President Museveni should be focusing att.HOW MANY UGANDAN WOULD WANT TO BUT CAN NOT AFFORD? That is what I would be concerned with. Those Nigerian supporters are already able to enjoy at high level and shall be planning and looking up to the next WORLD CUP TOURNAMENT!Our culture should also be elevated and access to it expanded!
See, our kids even kick oranges instead of real balls?!?!Our people want to enjoy such cultures but can not, make it possible for them!!Noc'la gau"WE FORM THE CULTURE THAT FORMS US"….noc'la gaumoy.
