The admission by Gen.Museveni that he okayed Kyankwanzi motion that eleveted him as the only NRM presidential candidate of 2014 has only widened the split within the party.  That a whole president of a country organises behind closed doors a baby politician Everln Atine to neel before him in such a gathering of notables and beg him to be the sole candidate was actually a public secret. The aftermath of Kyankwanzi circus was even more open as the the pro-Mbabazi youths tried to hit back. Gen. Museveni as usual  through his his trusted Gen.Kayihura the youths were rounded upp under faked charges. At that time Museveveni kept silent as if the issue was not important. Besides the entire country found it quite humiliating to the senior veteran of the party , Amama Mbabazi and his wife who have have long been party royals. After 28 years of Museveni's rule Premier Mbabazi has been widely expected to take the throne from Gen.M7 but now it is clear from Gen.M7's own utterances that he has undermined  his prime minister. Who can trust such aleaderin 2014?
