{UAH} The word Museveni does not only mean President Yoweri K. Museveni.
Point of information, the word Museveni does not only mean President Yoweri K. Museveni. From time immemorial, any WWII veteran is locally referred to in Luganda as (O) Museveni. E.g Museveni Ssajjabi, named after the 7th battalion of K.A.R where they served during the WWII. In fact, the word Okusevena was adopted in the Luganda vocabulary in the 1950s.
The localword "Keya" meaning army or military was also derived from K.A.R. The local people used to call WWII veterans Abaseveni. From the historical point of view, without partisan politics, the words Okusevena, Omuseveni, Abaseveni, have existed for over sixty years (60) years, and you can conduct your independent research to prove it if you want.
The name Museveni, was given to President Y.KM, because he was born during the time of the WWII around 1944 according to some local people, and because the late Mzee Kaguta also served in the K.A.R during World War II. Museveni is not a tribal clan name, just like other African names. From long, it is a local title bestowed upon those who fought in the WWII. If you had also fought in WWII, we would have called you (o) museveni.
Those Ugandan WWII K.A.R veterans, had formed an association headed by Mzee Ssajjabi (Museveni) from Kayunga, Bugerere. There was another K.A.R officer called Lt. Abraham Ndawula and a member of the Royal family of Buganda. There Heros are Ugandan pride and must be supported regardless of pilitical differences or affiliations of M7. The involvement of Buganda Royal Family and all other Ugandan Kingdoms will help very much to nullify any such differences and creats the needed foundation of unity amongst Ugandan.
