SV: {UAH} MAYOR DIES AFTER BEING STUNG BY WASPS

Okeya and UAH folks,

Do not forget that some people are very sensitive by Bee or Wasp stings. It can kill. I saw it in Acoliland when still very young boy while taking care of our cattle on AJAN stream in Payiira Lacekocot. He got stung by Wasp and the boy just died. May the soul of the lady rest in peace!

Nameshake,

Sorry for the lady; death is queer, it comes through suspiciously and least expected. Bees or wasps killing a mayor of a city in developed country, not surprising considering that we use so many chemicals to cure or prevent bites (mosquito, insect, bees, etc) so there is no immunity.

I am sure you used the same practice for hunting and harvesting honey. When I was a kid, my brother (RIP) and I used to harvest honey from wild bees. Such bees colonized anthills and/or cracks on tree trunks in the bush. Our task was to find where the bees came from so we would put water in broken pots/basins and waylay the bees when they come for water. Armed with a piece of cotton tied onto a piece of thread, we would catch the bees, tie the thread on their legs or abdomen and let them fly and then the chase ensues, running in the wild but in the direction the bees take and for sure, we would find the colony and that was food! We would harvest honey in broad day light but with several stings which we ignored, only minor swellings and itching a little.

And if attacked by a swarm of bees, this can be dangerous; one has to close all body openings (ears, nose, mouth and down there) to avoid the bees entering) other than that, if there is a water pond around, just immerse yourself in the water and the bees will hover over the water and go away.

The late mayor was very beautiful, did you meet her when you were in Montreal? If you did, I know you are in deep mourning; accept my condolences.

Namesake.

Now you know Africans are a different humanity. An African can be stung by a hundred bees, turn shapeless, temporarily sightless and mouth-less but does not even think of dying all that time. I think, dying is a mind thingi. One can, matter of fact, refuse to die, unless otherwise. The woman must have got convinced from just the first sting that she was going - and she did. She went.

I was told the mere sighting and proof of 15 African bees can close an American city within hours, calling for SWAT teams and leaving all streets to only Africans from the continent doing the inevitable - looting. You will never convince even an American Niggar that the so-called "African Killer Bees"necessarily dont kill as badly portrayed bcos if they did the continent would have laid waste and bare of people - Africans.

LA PRAIRIE, Que. - The mayor of a Montreal-area community has died after being stung repeatedly by wasps.
Lucie F. Roussel passed away in hospital on Sunday, according to municipal authorities in La Prairie.
A spokeswoman for the town said Roussel, 51, was not allergic to wasp stings.
"She was stung on several parts of her legs — about 15 times from what we think," Chantal Charron said Monday.
"She was overcome by the number of stings. When the ambulance technicians arrived, they tried to give her (an adrenalin injection) but they couldn't save her."
Jean Bergeron, the town's director-general, said he was in a "state of shock."
"Losing someone in such a way is difficult," he said. "It's traumatic."
Dr. Mitch Shulman, a Montreal emergency medicine specialist, says while Roussel apparently was not allergic to wasps, the number of stings may have been enough to cause her death — especially if she had an underlying heart condition.
"Think about it, 15 venomous flying insects all striking at about the same time . . that's a tremendous amount of venom to hit someone's system with," he said in an interview.
"Depending on your underlying health situation and your underlying medical problems, it's easily understandable how that might overwhelm your body's ability to protect itself."
Shulman said he was curious to know about Roussel's condition when ambulance technicians arrived.
"If she was too far gone, if she was already not breathing properly, if her heart rhythm was already off, if her blood pressure had dropped, she may have been too far gone for them to save at that point," he said.
Roussel, who was stung while gardening at her cottage in Stratford, about 200 kilometres east of Montreal, ran unsuccessfully for the Quebec Liberals in the 2012 provincial election.
Flags on municipal buildings in La Prairie, just south of Montreal, flew at half-mast on Monday.
Roussel had two adult children: Constance, 18, and Antonin, 19.
"She was a dynamic woman," said Suzanne Roy, head of the union of Quebec municipalities.
"She was in politics because she believed in families and believed she could bring about change."
Premier Philippe Couillard also tweeted his condolences.
