{UAH} How did Lango Get them?

Forum,

The following counties, sub-counties and areas in present day Lango appear to previously belong to Buganda, Bunyoro, Buruli or Busoga. How did they become part of Lango?

Please can someone give an honest answer, for the benefit of all on this forum and elsewhere in in the world.

1- Present day Apac District is composed of Maruzi County (not a Lango name) and Kwania County. In Maruzi county, the place immediately after Akokoro towards the River Nile and is known as Kwibale and the most famous fish landing villages there are Wansolo (Wancholo) and Kayei. All are not Lango names. There is another place calle Chakali (perhaps Kyakale in a Bantu dialect).

2- Two sub-counties in Kwania County, Apac District, both bordering Lake Kwania and River Nile are known as Chawente (perhaps a corruption of Kya w'ente) and Nambieso (obviously not Lango names).

3- Two sub-counties in Amolatar District bordering Lake Kwania are known as Muntu Sub-county and Namasale Sub-county, both obviously Bantu and not Lango names.

How did this areas become part of Lango and which tribe (s) previously occupied them?

Many thanks

Billie
