{UAH} TRACKING? where can a criminal hide? they also need their human rights
President Yoweri Museveni has thanked the Chinese Telecommunications
Solutions Company, Huawei Technologies Company Ltd, for donating a
multi-media tracking system to the Uganda Government. He paid the
tribute today at State House, Entebbe where he received the donation
from the Huawei Vice President for Africa and the Middle East Region,
Mr. Li Dafeng.
President Museveni was impressed with the performance of the equipment
basing on the video demonstration presented. The equipment and related
services are valued at US$750,000 (seven hundred fifty thousand
dollars).
The Huawei Vice President, Mr. Dafeng, informed President Museveni
that the ultra-modern end to end multi-media tracking system
significantly reduces the critical mission response time as it has the
capacity to handle emergencies and will go a long way in providing
more security to the country.
The Managing Director of Huawei Technologies (Uganda) Company Ltd, Mr.
Radoslaw Kedzia, signed the hand over certificate on behalf of his
company while the Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority
(KCCA), Ms. Jennipher Musisi signed on behalf of the Uganda
Government. President Museveni and the Chinese Ambassador to Uganda
Mr. Zhao Yali, witnessed the signing ceremony.
Huawei's numerous solutions products, including mobile and wireless
communications, ATM, data communications, video conferencing, have
been deployed in over 100 countries. Huawei is based in Shenzhen,
China. It also operates in Latin America with offices in Chile,
Brazil, Peru and Venezuela.
