I wish the press could dig into the ownership of these revoked titles, and tell us when they were acquired.

Land speculation is at the center of high cost of housing in Nairobi. But I strongly doubt that Uhuru is taking this action to punish land speculators. I can read into this mass revocations and tie them with the wider security problems in Lamu.
