{UAH} Opposition to meet in Europe
I am told opposition leaders are about to meet in Europe to map out how to work together. The question to ask is this: If they have failed to agree in Uganda what makes them believe they will do so in Europe?
The second question is this: How did they select participants if the idea is to unite opposition at home and in the diaspora? There are active organizations in the diaspora that have not been invited. This is a nonstarter - dead on arrival. And who has organized the meeting? This is divisive politics.
The meetings under The Hague Process made it clear that to avoid party confusion participants would meet as individuals and we are doing well. We have a road map for peace; security and development and methods to carry it out. And we have been excluded.
Eric.
