{UAH} Triumphant welcome for Pope Francis in South Korea!

The welcome has been very heroic! And many Koreans, including those in Communist
North Korea feel comforted by the Pope's presence in the region. There are even voices
being heard requesting the Holy Father to use his great influence to stop any nuclear
experimentation in the region!
The Pope has been triumphantly received. Many pilgrims came from as far as Cambodia,
Vietnam, Japan, etc...and they joined Seoul's millions to show solidarity to Pope.Francis.
The plane touched down yesterday morning to a twenty-two gun salute by the military.
As the Pope stepped on the red carped on tarmac, he was greeted by South Korea's President
Madame Park Geun-Hye.He was handed a big bouquet of flowers before being introducet to officials
and dignitaries. Then he was taken to the Presidential Palace where he was officially welcomed by the
President. The Pope, speaking in fluent English, replied to the President's speech. He expressed hios wish
for a united Korea and showed how the Church was eager to participate in the decvelopment projects in the
region. He also passed on a good amicable note for the entire Asian continent. And thanked the authorities
for having made such wonderful arrangements for his visit.
He was then driven in a small car to the Nunciature where he is going to stay, in stead of a deluxe hotel which
the authorities had propôsed to him. Cruising in the city's streets, the Pope was cheered by huge crowds to which
he waved, and on a few occasions he would be seen coming out of the car to chat with them. And he has strongly
expressed his intention to meet as many crowds as possible, knowing very well that millions are eager for him.
Communist North Korea refused to authorise anyone of its citizens to travel to Seoul! And, instead, when the Pope's
plane was about to land they fired three missiles in the ocean......
Communist China too didn't grant permission to any Chinese to make it to Seoul. And among the many who had shown
keen interest in meeting the Pope were very lots of university students. Hiowever the Chinese President had warmly
replied to the Pope's greeting when his plane was overflying the chinese territory. And he had promised to see an era of
an elaborated co-operation between China and the Vatican.
More crowd drawing ceremonies are scheduled this weekend. Today Friday the Pope will meet thousands of Asian youths
gathered in Seoul to commemorate Asia Youth Day.
