{UAH} UNAA Trade and Investments Forum - What to Expect.
Trade and Investment Forum
Friday August 29, 2014 – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
26th Annual Convention of the Ugandan North American Association
Hyatt Regency Hotel, La Jolla (San Diego), CA
What to Expect
In each of the last 5 conventions, UNAA organizers have invited a multitude of speakers to talk about literally every aspect of trade and investment between Uganda and North America. The principle difference between these forums and the forum this year will be the number of speakers (fewer) and the focused content of the event.
In addition to networking, we have established the following two principle objectives for this forum.
1. The presentation and exchange of information about trade and investment between Uganda and North America (US/Africa Leaders' Summit, AGOA, UIA, OPIC, US Trade Office, etc.)
2. To identify and discuss real investment and partnership opportunities between Ugandans living in North America and Ugandan businesses.
Here is a list of some of the individuals, companies and organizations that will be participating in the forum.
· Vice President of the Republic of Uganda
· Speaker of the Uganda Parliament
· Uganda Minister of Tourism
· Uganda's Ambassador to the United States
· Uganda Tourism Board
· Uganda Wildlife Authority
· PostBank, Ltd. (banking and financial services)
· Victoria View Farms (Vanilla)
· Psalms Confectionary and Bakery (Gonja Chips)
· Uganda Coffee Development Authority
· Chairman of the Bugisu Cooperative Union (Bugisu Coffee)

· Jakana Foods
· Exposure Africa (Ugandan Handicrafts)
· Aloesha Organic (Natural Health Products)
· US Government Trade Representatives
· Global Perspectives, Ltd. (Real Estate)

We will be absolutely thrilled to leave the forum at the end of the day knowing that serious discussions are underway for the formation of partnership and other business relationships that will promote increased trade and investment between Uganda and North America.
So come to the forum on Friday August 29th starting at 9:00 AM and discover if Uganda offers any opportunities for you in the tourism industry, investment in financial instruments, or maybe explore the potential for a representative relationship with a Uganda coffee, vanilla, natural products, handicraft or other company.
