SV: SV: SV: {UAH} Laduma , Gook: Vem Vinna Valet ~ Ugandans At Heart (UAH)

Ndugu LADUMA and UAH folks,

FIRST, I was trying to inform Ndugu WBK and fellow UAH folks on the differences between the Sweden (Swedish) Democracy - Sverigedemokraterna (SD) and The Swedish Social Democratic party Socialdemokraterna (S) since it looked WBK and many others do not understand it.

SECOND, I did not discuss any of the contentious issues of political negotiations in Sweden after this year's 2014 general election results!

LASTLY, now or late today the Socialdemokraterna (S) Chairman had been asked by the Speaker of the Parliament to form the next government. So let us wait and see the formation of the new government by the Socialdemokraterna (S) Chairman.

Yes the parliamentary mandate distribution is

crazy.

On the surface, it appears that it is tough negotiation time and that Löfven may find it hard to push through is budget.

However,my consideration is that, althouh on

it appears tough, in reality it could actually be so easy. Reason is: SVERIGEDEMOKRATERNA TOOK VOTES FROM MODERATERNA AND CENTERN.

That clearly implies that Sverigedemokraterna have the least interest ( if not no interest at all) to cause a new election. They are only bluffing. They do not want a new election.

Reason is: If they call for a new election, those moderater and Centerpartister who voted for them are going to go back to their mother

parties which are threatened by collapse.

In effect, they shall loose the position they have just acquired AND LOOSE PLENTY BUCKS TOO in party support grants.

So, to me, they are bluffing and coming up with impossible demands just as negotiation tactics.

They are the least interested in a new election.

For your information, The Swedish Social Democratic Party is a Progressive ideological party - commonly known as Socialist party with the symbol (S) only. In the latest general election (S) won the election with 1,886,473 votes!

The Swedish Social Democratic Party is the political party that had built Swedish democratic norm and its major development. It was founded on 23^rd - April 1889. It was started by the Workers.

Swedish Democrats (SD) was founded in 1988/7 and came in Swedish Parliament after the 2010 general elections. (SD) is Far Right populists and anti-immigrant party like the National Front Party of Jean-Marie Le Pen of France. This means SD was started on Nazism and fascist political doctrine with clear racist agenda.

I think, the success of (SD) during this year's elections had been because the ruling Moderates party. The Moderates had started using the (SD) numbers of MP in the Parliamentary motions to defeat the opposition parties in the Parliament earlier. But when in public, the Moderates Chairman makes critical statements about the (SD). But as it stand, the voters are not quite foolish hence the latest outcome of the general elections.

The registered Populations of voters is 7, 330,431. This is 83.3% of the whole population. The (SD) got about 781,120 which about 12.9%. So here we can see that 5, 327,272 voters are not racist oriented as the (SD).

WBK, I think this information can give you some understandings on the politics that had taken place here in Sweden lately.

Swedish voters evaluate political parties on the basis of their policies to see how they fit in with their values.

Irrespective of the not great outcome vote wise, SD will be in the lead for the next while. I take it that SD is the worker's party in Sweden.

What impact if any is the SD victory likely to impact Europe's foreign policy for example?

I guess SD's victory is being overshadowed by the nail biter in Scotland, which has implications for Scotland. I understand in the event of a yes vote automatic membership in the EU is not given. Let us wait and see.

WBK, Yes we made it but the margin was far below anticipated prognosis.

We are in a delicate situation. It is like we did not really win more votes BUT,

THAT THE CURRENT CONSERVATIVE-LIBERAL ALLIANCE QUAKED

CAPITALLY.

Sadly, THEY LOST THEIR VOTERS TO THE RACIST "SVERIGEDEMOCRATS"!!

Still, we have to celebrate our win- so far so good!

It was a shock lost for the alliance. Both the Prime Minister, the Finance Minister

and a couple other tops (architects and spine of the alliance) have pronounced resignation

not only from governance but from party politics as well.

As for the second question: NJAA..,Between 1976-1982, 1991-1994,

Socialdemokraterna were in opposition.

Actually, the Socialdemocrats have since 1960s

not really lead any majority government but their strength had been the ability

to dialogue across part barriers and with all interest groups to woo support for

their policy and budget.

Now we are at the same old shit negotiation and dialoge situation.

It used to be easier but now the political landscape has changed.

Socialdemokraterna, Mijöpartiet and Vänsterpartiet did not get enough mandates

so they have to reach out for dialogue with at least the liberal middle parties.

So far, they have turned a deaf-ear to the invitation. It is a dilema..., a nightmare!

But Stefan Löven is a former metal Union leader (experienced negotiator), a welder

who worked his way up. So he might do the magic when the shock on the loosing

alliance calms. Otherwise, there could be risk for a new election.

We are not there , yet!!

The best lesson to draw from the results is that THE SWEDISH SOCIETY IS A VERY

SOLID VALUE BASED SOCIETY. There are fundamental values that you just can

not temper with ..., just like that. Beyond that it does not matter if you

talk economy, economy, tax-reduction.., tax-reduction, individual freedom to choose..., blah, blah!!!

Such society values include " MEDBESTÄMANDERÄTT (voice / right to be consulted.

This includes at schools or working places),

RIGHT TO EQUAL WELFARE (That includes schools, healthcare among others).

These, including ALLEMANSRÄTT (Legal right of access) are so deep rooted.

When you try to water up or scrape these values, you'll be shown the exit no matter

how much tax you wish to cut!!

People are willing to pay tax to maintain those society values.

The Alliance learnt the hard way.

Congratulations. How long were SD in opposition? They had ruled Sweden for years and possibly took voters then for granted. So what lessons did the SD learn while in opposition that helped them to make a successful bid this time?

Was immigration such a big election issue in Sweden? If so why?

In terms of ordinary voters/citizens what does the victory of the SD mean for them?
