SV: {UAH} Nockrach Laduma: Swedish Social Democratic Party, High Wages & Small Scale Industry

Ndugu Bwanika and UAH folks,
Frankly, I agree with you that it will be quite a strong pragmatism stand that must be performed by Löfven to build a Social Democratic government without him going to the Left of the Progressive doctrine of the party. It will be hard for him to go too far to the Right looking for both the Centre and the Folk parties since they have destroyed the Swedish Model base on standard Common Welfare status.
We are seeing how Schools, Common health care standards have continues to drop including even the well-beings of the workers such as nurses in the hospitals had continued to deteriorate. The sad thing, is the ideological differences between Progressive Social democrats and the moderates have got very thin whereby the people - ordinary voters do not see it for the 8 years of the leaderships of the moderates when Social democrats is in opposition.
I think, the LEFT - (Vänster) party are the one who are trying to occupy the Progressive ideological base of the old Social democratic - Workers party. But, the unfortunates are happening inside the Swedish political landscape since the children of the workers are trying to become aristocrats whereby they are not ready to share as Progressive political ideology teaches. This, is why I feel it will continue to hard for the future of the party!

Laduma & Gook
I feel for Stefan Löfven - he must really get pragmatic to solve a deep Swedish Social Democracy problem.
The Social Democrats in Sweden could do better since the ideological postulate is still very relevant despite industrial decline. However and from my own experience this party in the 80's become an elitist party, too far from the majority workers.
Things did not become easier with sagging unemployment numbers laid off from entities like; Volvo, Bofors, SAAB Scania, Ericsson, ABB etc., who could go on with their lives with equally the same living standards as when they worked with very fat wages. In fact a friend of mine a political scientist did a study and found out the purchase of new motor vehicles increased dramatically during the same period.  Ikea, H&M, ICA made record profits! Low cost super markets like Cooperative butiken almost collapsed! Swedish workers party and ethics (Lutheran Ethics) for the first, time were done a death blow.
The party became an organ of sycophants who could not urge workers rights, values and that makes a lot of difference in the political future of an organization like S - despite the fact that probably Sweden remains the only country next to Germany with so many small scale manufacturing industry supplying big and well established companies! For the social democrats to reignite the same old spirit – will not be in running 1st May workers marches for that class is in steady decline but rather in reducing wages hence the cost of production to attract back Ericsson, ABB, Volvo, SAAB SCANIA, etc.to make the elite the off springs of the workers feel attached to some steady life prospects.
Sweden probably is one country which has many houses than the population. One time Fugesta and Norrköping were deserted and almost a thousand or more flats were empty – it was amazing to see this. Now every one is running to Stockholm and Goteborg.
I wanted to start a political party that was to run on the same principals of the Swedish Social Democratic Party – a combination of Marxism and social capitalism, but found that commitment to such ideals in Uganda despite the fact that our people are cultural and mostly village based this would not work.  But we need such a party though!
I did an analysis of UPC and found latent corruption with leaders amassing an unworked for riches in the 80's – I shelved the idea. I will still remain  UPC, hopefully they can change somehow.
